Privacy

Your experiences belong to you.

This policy covers the LivedYet website, iOS app, accounts, community records, and beta waitlist.

Information we collect

Account information such as your email address, user ID, display name, handle, bio, and profile settings; records and comments you write; photos or videos you choose to upload; experience plans, follows, Helpful votes, reports, and score events; and a broad place name when you choose to attach one. LivedYet does not accept or store precise coordinates for records. The website waitlist also stores your email, selected interest, submission time, and limited anti-spam information.

How we use information

We use this information to provide accounts, publish and organize records, build experience communities, calculate the versioned Lived Score, personalize discovery, enable social features, prevent abuse, respond to reports, secure the service, and support data access or deletion requests. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.

AI-assisted processing

Record and comment content may be processed by an AI service configured by LivedYet for experience matching, organization, and safety checks. Images and representative video frames may also be checked for safety before public distribution. AI suggestions do not prove that an experience happened. Reports, appeals, and uncertain or high-risk cases can be escalated for human review.

Who can see your content

Public profiles and public records can be viewed by anyone. Followers-only records are limited to accepted followers, and private records are limited to you. Your email address, drafts, private records, precise account data, and data export are not public. You can change profile and score visibility in the app.

Service providers and transfers

We use Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions in the United States; an AI provider configured by LivedYet for classification and moderation; Apple MapKit for place-name search on Apple devices; and our website hosting provider for the public website. These providers process data under their own security and privacy terms. Data may therefore be processed outside your country, with safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active and keep security or moderation records only as long as reasonably necessary. Data export files expire after seven days. When you delete your account in the app, private content, drafts, media, profile data, and authentication credentials enter immediate deletion processing. Public contributions may remain only after irreversible anonymization, as disclosed before confirmation. You may contact us if you want all public contributions removed instead.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, change visibility, download a machine-readable copy of your account data, block users, and delete your account from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing. Email hello@livedyet.com to exercise a right or ask a privacy question.

Children

LivedYet is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.

Security and changes

We use access controls, encrypted transport, private media storage, short-lived media links, and audit records to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when practices materially change and will provide additional notice when required.
